Roads with Stories

This initiative was established by the Japan Tourism Agency with an objective of regaining the richness of roads through sharing the stories associated with the road for people to walk, jog, cycle in the 21st century. Supported by acclaimed artists, architects, athletes, and others, over 40 roads personally memorable to them have been recommended and certified. Certified roads are marked with a special road sign that displays a designated logo indicating that it is one among the special Runner's Info certified roads.ｓ
